Blood curdling screams ring out...

The day ends like most days, I clean up the kitchen, pile more stuff on the end of the counter, and look forward to my bed. Then there is a scream, “that” scream that all moms know. I ran (yep, I did) to the boys’ bedroom and there was poor Jack.  He had both knees caught in the sides of his bed.  No doubt he was trying to escape.  I cuddled him and kissed him while big bro Finn tried to loan him a number of blankets and stuffed animals to soothe his woes.  Don’t you love when they can be sweet to one another?

Earlier in the day, much earlier, Finn had tried to block Jack’s way down the hallway.  He was being a twerp for no reason I could figure.  He got so ticked when I asked him to move that he flopped on the floor and rolled around screeching and writhing until his head connected with the decorative trim around the hallway bathroom. That stopped the fit right quick! And it left Finn with a lovely, lumpy mass on his noggin’. And while that was not the only owie of the day or the only fit or the only sibling spat of the day... it is a good reminder, that what goes around, comes around.
