Rian's laundry. All from her room. Yikes!

All afternoon and into the evening I worked in Rian's room.  Are all 9 year old girls pack rats? Slobs? Clueless?  However, after some time spent in there and repeating the mantra, "You will feel so much better without so much stuff." she did indeed feel much better. She said so multiple times.  Of course, it was like pulling teeth.  She could not see the stuff on the floor.  I had to point out almost each indivdual piece of junk, otherwise she didn't notice it.  The stuff had been part of her environment for so long she had forgotten what clutter free looked and felt like. Of course, as I tucked her in after the long battle I noticed she had thrown her clothes on the floor... next to the hamper.
