Dear Family, Friends, and Other,
I chose not to share a Christmas card/letter with you all because it is just so expected! Also, I was incredibly busy during the pre-Christmas ramp up…er lazy. Now that all the post Christmas bills are coming due, how about some fun mail from ME?!
In fact, at this very moment, I am ignoring cleaning the kitchen since it is so very important that I communicate with you! Really though, our family has had a great year, and I am counting on this next year being even better. In amongst the crazy every day things happening we have had some good times.
Alan is as busy as ever at work and with reserves and school. He’s added Rian’s school and its board to his docket and really enjoys it. He has the opportunity to work on the technology component at the school and bring it up to speed and hopefully bring new and amazing things to the students and teachers. In the meantime he will continue to be my Superman and all around awesome dude.
Rian is my biggest helper and the best big sister ever… Except when she is torturing the younger siblings. Otherwise, she is my favorite daughter. She just started Children’s Music Theater and loves it. In her spare time she reads copious amounts of mystery novels, watches reruns of Murder She Wrote, and plans for a glorious career as a forensic pathologist.
Finn is the amazing middle child. He entertains himself very well and still finds time to give his old mom a snuggle. He loves every minute of preschool. He talks his teacher’s ear off and learns something new every day. Cars are still his favorite things, and his imagination is beyond anything I could have ever imagined!
Jack is as insane as ever and never fails to make me feel a bit insane by the end of the day. I do my best to keep up with him and still end up 5 and half steps behind. He is smart as a whip and my biggest challenge. I have high hopes for him.
Jena (that is me) is doing her best to keep up with the challenges brought on by caring for three amazing and very different children. She is doing her best to ignore her upcoming birthday and still have fun. She has a new found love for high heels and dancing with friends. She has high hopes for new adventures in the New Year. She continues to love and live every day of the week… even when everyone is driving her crazy.
J
